Local Authority Delivery (LAD)
Our LAD scheme focuses on bolstering energy efficiency in low-income households residing in off-gas grid areas with lower EPC ratings (E, F, or G bands).
This initiative tackles fuel poverty, discontinues high carbon fossil fuel heating, and aligns with the UK’s 2050 net-zero commitment.
Within England, local authorities can independently or jointly submit funding proposals.
These proposals target improving energy efficiency in low-income households within their jurisdictions, contributing to a sustainable future.
Requirements for eligibility.

Households should have a combined income of no more than £30,000

Homes to be improved should be currently rated as EPC: E,F or G.

100% subsidy for owner-occupiers (up to £10,000)

Two-third subsidy for social and private landlords (up to £5,000)

LA Flex broadens the scope of the government's Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme, designed to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions in UK households. Targeting low-income individuals not receiving benefits but facing cold home challenges, the LA Flex Scheme is tailored for their needs.
